How to unlock a submitted timesheet

When a person submits their timesheet, the entries lock and can no longer be edited. If something needs to change after submission, someone with the right permission can unlock the timesheet to make those entries editable again. This article explains who can unlock, how, and what happens to approved or invoiced time.
Before you begin
You need permission to edit locked time entries. Without it, the Unlock option won't appear.
Unlocking a timesheet

Go to Hours. In the top bar, use the person selector to open the timesheet of the person whose entries you need to unlock — you can pick anyone you have permission to edit time for (see "Editing timesheets on behalf of someone else"). Their timesheet shows as locked until their last submitted date.
Click Unlock timesheet in the top bar.
Choose the date to unlock from — everything on or after that date becomes editable again. The dialog shows how many time entries this will affect.
Review the warnings before confirming:
If your organization uses approval flows, any approved entries in the range will be set back to unapproved and need approving again.
Invoiced time entries are skipped — they stay locked and tied to their invoice, so unlocking won't make them editable. To change an invoiced entry, remove it from its invoice first.
Click Unlock.
The affected entries become editable again, from the chosen date onward, for the person and for anyone editing on their behalf.
